Domaine Marc Kreydenweiss
Le Moine Moenchberg Pinot Gris

2006 and mind blowing. Perfect balance of yellow fruit and sweet Asian spice. Developing wine makes me want to hold all Alsace Pinot Gris back. Great compliment to pork and speck.

Much more residual sugar than I expected - honey-yellow in color, drinks more like a Ausleise reisling than a refreshing Pinot Gris

Really impressed how this aged. Good body, slight sweetness, good acidty paired well with Ottolenghi menu.
