Champans Volnay 1er Cru Pinot Noir

Takes a moment to get going but then this is such a classic. Spicy, rustic, a bit austere, but there are some subtle floral and complex fruit notes that appear and shift as this develops over a few days open. Really nice

Has enough fruit to fill out the structure.

Gorgeous. Silky, elegant red fruits. Good acidity too.
