The very unusual and very special wines of Domaine Ostertag are worth a special effort to find in the marketplace. They are not bound by the usual rules of classification, vinification, varietal or any other pre-conception. They are just delicious. The nose has a delicious blend of flowers and strawberry. In the palate there is a atypical cascade of fruit and lean, dry minerality that make this wine very food friendly (fish, poultry, and beef all qualify) especially for hot climate drinking. Very enjoyable!
