The Kimmeridgian terre blanche soils of La Cote made me initially call this Chablis on the nose alone. Yet on the palate the concentration, low acidity, slight off-dryness revealed this was something else. Suspecting old vines and high ageing potential which will offset the off-dryness better. Great start of an epic evening.
