Gevrey-Chambertin Cuvée Vieilles Vignes-Morgeaux Pinot Noir

Lovely wine! Elegant and light on its feet, great fruit, in fantastic form. I haven’t had much red BUrgundy in recent months, and this was a stunning return to it.

Juicy cherries, blueberries and a touch of vanilla. Watermelon now and later. Still very much a baby.

Very old school. Great stuff.

Bramble and cherry on the nose, with the structure to age nicely.
