Initial impressions of this 2022 is that it has a young vine Beaujolais Village profile!!?? Ruth fruity, with some earth coming through pleasant but at $45 a bottle I’d rather have gone for A gamay. Does go well with the duck breast in cherry/ orange sauce. 2 nights later this has opened up into a different wine. Depth, concentration, elegance subtle spices.

This burgundy (organically grown Pinot Noir in soil with limestone, then aged in barrels and steel) has notes of red fruit, oak, spice, and mineral on the finish. It’s a balanced wine with some acidity and fruit.
