Impressive complexity in this umpretentious CDP by Usseglio. It was deliciously round and well balanced . Aromas of red fuit, plums and herbs, good body and structure came together graciously after 13 years in the bottle (18 months in foudre). I wonder if I would have been so pleased had I tried it much younger... probably not. I wish i had more of this one in my cellar.

Good with Beef daube and pasta. Rich berry tones, and strong enough to stand up with a meaty daube.
