When I see a wine leading in Cabernet Franc, I can't stay away. This Cab Franc/Syrah blend met and exceeded my expectations. Structure. Liveliness with that good Old World funk. And the price ain't bad either!

Simple red from the Pays d'Oc with primarily red fruit from Cabernet Franc, fairly good extraction with so-so tannins, pretty fruit forward, could use more acidity. A Parkerized wine.

Clear, deep ruby color. Clean, youthful nose with a range of mostly black fruits, black pepper, light vanilla, heavy animal. Medium acid and tannin.
