From a great looking bottle bought at the Domaine. Tawny and light in the glass. Bright cherry focused nose. Also notes of spice, dark soil, cranberry and burlap sac. Rich and liqueur like in the mouth. Heavy and masculine. There is a hint of steminess but you have to look for it. Not my favorite vintage of this but it was serviceable.

A little rustic. Red and black fruit, with hints of green pepper on the back end. Structured on the palate, with a long finish.
