Domaine Robert Chevillon
Les Pruliers Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Pinot Noir
This was a step up. Needed a decant and a couple hours of air to show its best.

Jan 9th, 2018A little cheesy on the nose, but in a good way. Potpourri. Good acid spine. Cleans up and brightens with a little air. Red fruits and spice develop.

May 12th, 2016In a great place right now. Pop and pour. Beautiful nose with plum and sour cherry, baking spice, and dark chocolate/cocoa. On the palate, excellent density and acidity; enveloping with more sour cherry and plum. Slightly grainy tannin on the bitter dark chocolate finish, but otherwise very polished.Day 2: left on counter overnight (unrefrigerated). Shows some signs of oxidation today, but still a nice core. Maybe a shorter drinking window if this bottle is representative.
