Jul 13th, 2017Combo of 50% Niellucciu, 35% Sciaccarello, and 15% Grenache. Pale pink into the glass. The nose is strawberry. Crisp acidity on the open. Strawberry and watermelon front with a nice but semi brief middle. The finish was a bit stronger than I thought from a wine that didn't seem like it was going to have much on the back. Left a tart watermelon jolly rancher. Not as smooth as I would like, but decent. First Corse Rose I've ever had, so I don't know if this is typical for this region.
