Amber colour. Big, lush, oily wine. Deep, dark aromatics, asian spices, grilled nectarines, orange marmelade, smoke/peat/tobacco and caramel. First impression is that this wine is fairly sweet, resembling a VT, but the finish leaves my mouth clean and dry, and full of tasty impressions like luxurious oak, vanilla, sweetened Earl Grey tea and marzipan. No heat, the whopping 15% alc. is beautifully embedded in its impressive concentration and gorgeous balance. Wonderful!
Drink now, as it won't get better.
