2011 still had solid tannin. blackberry and cocoa dominant, acid and heat are very well balanced. Needs cheese/cream based foods to balance the tannins.

Lots of sweet light fruits on the nose. Raspberry, cherry, moderate acidity. Reminds me of a sweet and sour chewy candy. Short finish without lingering tannins. Not a dry wine. Superb to just sip on the patio or inside on a rainy day. Would pair well with sweet fruits and nuts.
