Federspiel Gruner Veltliner
An Austrian “signature” grape. Nice structure, pale lemon color, crisp this Gruner Veltliner shows plenty of stone and citrus fruits with green herbs. On the palate flavors of lemon, peach and pepper with slight nuttiness, medium finish with lively acidity and very good balance. Drink now.

Nov 8th, 2024Chalk, wet stone, lemon, pear, white pepper. The nose is quite complex for an entry level wine... The palate is well designed, rather wide an opulent, with a nice grip and peary and citrusy notes all along, before a nice finish with citrusy notes, some pear, that chalky mouuthfeel and it lasts for a nice while. We had it with gyoza enhanced with some spicy korean sauce (buldak X2) and it went super well. I like that a lot, especially against a hot sauce which packs a punch, but I'd love a stonger acid drive.
