Impressive depth, concentration, and persistence, with well-integrated wood and a lovely mineral streak, on the modern side but obviously Tempranillo made with precision and class.

2001. The last bottle of the case. Still lots of life left. Magnificent high volume nose of dark fruit, barnwood, leather and other great earthy smells, and the mouth delivers more of the same. Very long finish with layer after layer. I will miss you old friend. You were great.
