Juicy but a finish of tar and vine.

This is a very old world style Pinot. Lots of dusty earthy notes, a little cherry and dried rose petals on the nose. Underripe strawberry on the mouth. Medium intensity and medium plus alcohol.

This wine is produced from some of the oldest European vines in the Finger Lakes of NYS. Their age gives a lower yield of grapes producing a fuller flavored wine. Great wine for the cost.

Cherry and a slight note of wet forest floor. Straight-forward. The finish is short, tannic and a bit watery, but the fruit holds up throughout. Young and needs time to open up to fully express itself. There's some good value here for the price, but as with any Pinot, it's almost impossible to find outstanding quality below $30-$35.

Earthy with a brilliant aroma of black cherries. This wine also has an interesting baking spice flavor that I believe represents the soil in the finger lakes. Great wine for such an interesting region!
