Still young. Goes very well with food. Very dry for a zin. Almost cab like. Mineral, graham cracker, black cherry, plums; very dry.

Very nice. Bouquet dusty white pepper on a cedar plank. Velvety deep dark blackberry and black and green pepper corns . Hints of mocha. Nicely balanced.

I always love CA zins. This one does not disappoint... Much. A bit of a harsher alcohol taste, could be smoother. Violets, jasmine, tart, unripe cherries.

Tannin is stronger than fruit. Dry and big. Would probably age well for a few years.

Briary, with the Petite Sirah adding to its spicy heft. The fruit is fresh and wild, and the alcohol moderate (for the category) at 13.5%. A nice entry-level Zin that may benefit from age.

I loved this Zin. Deep purple, dry with a smooth finish. This is close to the Ridge Zins that are my favorites.

Dry and lots of flavor. I'll drink this bottle but not another.
