In the mold of a new school barrel aged Crianza Rioja- all big bold red fruits & vanilla notes- except it’s Serbian Pinot Noir. Seven years of age seem to have not made a dent. Not to my taste but imagine will have its fans.

What else but a Serbian Pinot Noir to start the week off? Aside from an impressive balance the nose and palate share wonderful petrol and forest floor notes not too unlike some Spatburgunders. Medium/ light body and the color is more dark crimson than Ruby. Paired with grapefruit roasted chicken & potatoes.
