Compared to the ‘94, this was much lighter with tons of acid. The two were the WOTNs, but 93 edged it out. Again no obnoxious green notes, just a lively wine who despite its age, is nowhere near its quarter-life crisis.

1993 Dunn Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon - one of my all time favorites. Perfect balance of development and youth. Everything is in the right place. They rarely make them like this anymore. Thank you Randy!!#classiccaliforniacab

Great freshness and fruit purity. Lovely acidic silver linings. Backed up by some rusticity/sturdiness and a smoky, ashy, mineral finish. Still some chewy tannines present.
Peak drinking now, plenty of life ahead.
