Thanksgiving wine number 4. This wine was a black cherry monster that has sprung into its element. Fully mature and ready to go. Medium to full-bodied black cherry, herb, mint, cola. Still very sweet on the entry. Could have guessed anywhere between 2010 and 2014 on this one. Tannin has mostly resolved towards the finish of this. Still a little bit of stiff oak in the first 30 minutes, softened up nicely and in some ways was a much better rounded wine to go with the smorgasbord of Thanksgiving dinner. I don't think I would hold on to this one much longer, definitely drink within the next 5 years, but solid 95 today.
