This is ribola gialla grap from Slovenia has a bit of lavender floral note to the apple and pear fruit

2012 vintage. Interesting stuff.

Deep golden color. Oxidized, almost like a sauternes without the sweetness. Apple and oak. Soft palate.

It must be an acquired taste example. This dry white wine is a bit heavy on alcohol and is far from a simple palate pleaser.

Tangerine, almond and hint ginger

I love this wine. Almost an orange wine, but not quite. Hints of fino Sherry in the finish.
