Vintage 2016 | Rich Cabernet Franc

How much I loved the 2013 when I drank it a year ago.....
This 2016 is at this moment as many of us are: In partial lockdown. Had it in decanter for 6 hours but the nose was completely blank. In the mouth there was something of some redfruit (fresh) but nothing really happening.
Will try the second half of the bottle in a few months and the other bottles.......? 2023?

Waiting for this to open up but it’s already smelling amazing … leather mid tannins oak tobacco blackberry! Argentinian. Eating with steak that coco is cooking for my last night in NYC 😭 he got this bottle from a friend. SILKY AF. Baking spice. This really opened up 30 mins or so after getting out of the fridge

Rich, mixed berry, cranberry, really elegant tannins. Crazy long finish. Could use another 5 years, but after open for a while.

Beautiful color. Violet on the nose. Sweet plum and cherry. Iron. Red currant. Bittersweet chocolate. Peppery notes. Nice persistance.
