Enderle & Moll
Müller
Ok, this bottle is super tight/young, so we're decanting to help the process.
Interesting pineapple/honey/almond-like nose. Palate has ripe stone fruits with a great acid balance, fresh. I'm thinking this is going to need many hours to reveal its true self.
48hr Update: Nose is quite mellow today, noticable honey and almond aromas, faint sweet pineapple lingers still. Palate has abandoned most of the acidity, a white pepper-like spice or equivalent is now present, still has a bit of fresh peach. I think this bottle needs lots of air and at least two more years before it fully connects.

A cold, rainy day in the Berkshires today, several degrees cooler and we'd be getting snow instead. I'm not ready, still yardwork to get done this season!
A head-to-head matchup today, '15 vs. '16 E&M 'Müller' Müller-Thurgau. The '16 is a check in on how it's doing several months post-delivery.
Seemed to be a lot of dissolved gas (CO2 or N2) in this bottle, so it got a vigorous decant. Pale yellow in color.
Still having pineapple/honey/almond-like nose, but picking up some sour notes today.
Palate has stone fruits with something like honey on vinyl, this wine is weird and tasty, I just don't get it everytime.
Likely, as before this will be better in 24 hours, or two years.

For $16 this is outrageous value. White pepper, stone fruit, tropical fruit, light nuttiness. High acid. Wishing I had more of it!

Jesus if you want something special this is it. Super hard to get from Lyle Fass via his email alerts and it ships 6 months later. I had this wine now for years there has been no miss this producer is rock solid. Totally underpriced.

Honey flavor goes high tone w a tropical Koolaid intensity and picks up a slight papaya note, the palate deepens with more apricot and a soft slight sweetness, finishes w fresh acidity, soft viscosity and a lingering slight tea like tannin >9.1! Haven't seen a white w this much transformation w air ever! Decant and repent!! Day 1: got that dense ripe Riesling tropical nose of honey and yellow peaches and a hint of almond oil; sour, unripe plums on tongue w a viscous texture from skin contact but finishes clean, I just need a bit more on the palate tho..8.8
