Very delicate with good acidity, not ready... Revisiting this tomorrow. No way are we going to drink the '14 Buntsandstein after experiencing this one, too young...But so excited to get back to them in a few years! Drink Liason now, and be happy.

Light color. Super delicate and delicious. Orange zest, dusty, more raspberry than cherry, white currant? / incredibly elegant. Within the Muschelkalk bracket in the top 25 percentile range. Totally drinkable on its own. Let’s just say this is f…ing magic. Pinot at the top of its game. Would argue drink now. This is at its peak. I would not recommend a decant. This is NOT a big in your face Pinot!

This wine is a stand alone gem. Very difficult to read and closed and may be too light and disappointing right now but that is deceiving. I am collecting these wines and they are ridiculously good with age. Currently available only from Crush or Chambers or Winfield Flynn in New York. I also tasted the 2015 in barrel 3 weeks ago which in the barrel is a flat out 10. The 2014 is chalky and herbaceous very subdued. The power and elegance of this wine is hidden right now almost like a sleeping giant.

Last vintage I tried was 2012 which was in a different league.
