Boy. Howdy. Totally biased, but Eric Texier, Monsieur Brezeme makes nothing but good to great wines. Le terroir parle- are you listening?

I am not usually into 100% roussanne, so this was a pleasant surprise! Orange blossom and white face powder.

Funky in a good way. Semi flabby in a bad way.

This was my favorite of the night. Mineral, acid, body & fruit all in balance. Low alcohol and purely lovely.

Love Texier. Roussanne I first had a few years ago as a kind of alt Chardonnay. I'm gonna call this lush ripe peaches balanced by mineral and considerable acidity. Maybe some vanilla or something in there too.. maybe that's a little oak? (I have the wine vocab of a 6 month old. Edit: gaga googoo texier.)
