Took a flyer on my 1st Moldovan wine and it was pretty good: w/8 yrs or so of age still fairly inky w/generous Bordeaux nose of dusty black cherry & black plums, leather, Earth and some pepper/spice combo. On the palate it was smooth, really smooth, really soft - pliable, and I’m going to say it: flabby. Fruit turned tart on palate but w/decent complexity of flavors maintaining thru finish. Believe there is CS & M in blend, maybe something else local. Old World vibes
