My last bottle of this beauty (123/1000 in NYC). I gifted the others to friends :) Richly sumptuous as I remembered - deep dark fruits, vanilla and dry earthiness. Full and delicious. With a quick orecchiette in prosciutto, shallots, peppers, parmesan and lemon.

Dec 5th, 20241000 bottle limited edition for NYC (this is number 13!). Black cherry, raisin, a little earthy and dusty with a dry, long finish. Some vanilla on the nose, medium tannins. Very full at 16% abv. Great! Maybe it’s too rare for a pizza wine, but mom is in town.
