Occidental Ridge Vineyard Pinot Noir

Awesome sauce

Tasting Group. Group 4th, my 2nd. Cherry cola aromas, integrated oak. Spritz. Complete. Simple. Long finish.

2011 vintage in 2021 ran flat. Decent wine but past it’s prime.

Rich and silky, this vintage is softer and broader than I recall it being in other years. Lots of smooth, fully puréed black cherry and dark plum, some pomegranate juice and the signature I love so much: a bit of that sexy brined black olive. Still a total babe.

This is actually their Whole Cluster bottling. Awesome.
