An incredible treat. Man do these guys know how to make a great cab! Paired with a KOW Steak ribeye - absolutely perfect!

Mar 19th, 2020Took 4 hours to open up. Still tight and needs a few more years, but a beautiful wine. Darker fruits abound.

Feb 16th, 2020Happy new year! Beautiful wine - more power and less finesse vs. a year and a half ago. Another 2-3 years and this will be a blockbuster, IMO.

Dec 31st, 2018I love the aromatics on this wine. Always thought this was the feminine expression from this producer versus their masculine Las Piedras bottling. Raspberry, blackberry, graphite and cedar. Tannins have softened a bit in the last 18 months and this is ready to go with an hour decant.

Jul 22nd, 2018Tremendous....finesse but with some power behind it. Excellent now but should continue to age well.

Jul 13th, 20173-hour decant. Dark purple in color. Tobacco, blue fruit and spring flowers on the nose. Red fruit, baking spice and cocoa. Minerality on the finish. Will benefit from a few years but surprisingly approachable now with some air.
