Boushey Vineyard Red Bordeaux Blend

Nice cocoa coffee notes to dance amongst the deep cherries. Silky WA texture.

Lavender and herbal aromas dominate. Plums and pomegranate on the palate. Lean round tannins and no heat despite the 13.9% alcohol.

Very dark purple, opaque, no sediment, medium- viscosity. Nose sees cherries, some oak, little bit of green pepper, but overall pretty subdued. Palette sees sour cherries, brambles. Medium tannins, Medium+ alcohol, medium+ finish of medium- complexity. Very well-balanced blend in terms of tannins and fruit, but lacking the depth and complexity of some of the best WA red blends. Great food wine however, and even though it's cab franc dominant, I'd pair like a merlot.

Drinking smooth with lots of fruit. A great mystery wine purchase from Garagiste.

Bitter taste on the back side. Benefits from an airing out..... Overall I'd by this again. Be sure to decant... Lots of sediment.

Very pleasant red blend. Short finish but still a nice sipping wine.
