Lord a’ mercy! Star bright straw gold. Inviting nose of Key lime and small yellow flowers. Echoed on the palate adding citrus rind and a slight mineral note; not as much as Sancerre, but just enough to peg it squarely as a product of the Loire Valley. Sociable medium-plus acidity makes the mouth water, this making this a classic Old World food wine. But it’s still mouth-friendly enough for a great summer sipper. Enjoy with greens, salads, white fish, poultry, or a wide range of “white wine” dishes.
