Famille Perrin
Les Sinards Châteauneuf-du-Pape Red Rhône Blend
Quite impressed since LBT, much more wholesome and integrated, in its place and expressive of time and place. Lovely brett and garrigue laden nose, quite savory and meaty now.

Dec 28th, 2019Needed a solid decant before being drinkable. Still a little out of balance though. Almost like a shell of CDP in some ways. Really interesting expression of non-fruit flavors and aromas. A little brett at first, animal, lavendar, white pepper, gravel, green wood tones. Can't tell if I like it or not and that kind of makes me like it.

Mar 13th, 20152010, Famille Perrin, Les Sinards Chateauneuf Du Pape Red. Pretty simple CDP, red and black fruit, a little earthiness but not much else. More like a
CDR than a CDP. Ok but nothing special.

Classic. Liquified castles. Open immediately. In the moment, with the mole and fresh baked bread...oh god. So thankful. Benchmark juice with a benchmark moment. Not explosive...right on the money.

May 5th, 20152010, Famille Perrin, Les Sinards Chateauneuf-Du-Pape, Grenache blend. Disappointing, a CNP from a top producer. Very thin with very little on the nose. Expected more extraction and a heavier wine overall.

Dec 19th, 2013Strange aroma of leather and rose. Lots of acid and integrated oak with subtle dark fruit. Clean finish, needs more muscle. Very good overall. Great example of terroir and the old world.
