Primarily Grenache with small amounts of Syrah and Mourvèdre. Produced from the fruit of younger vines. Quite the bold baby! Dark ruby color with purple highlights. Very aromatic nose of black and red berries, spices and black pepper. Bright cherry leads the pallet with hints of roasted meat and black pepper spice. Tannin is present but not as grippy as I would have guessed. Long finish and bright acidity. Highly concentrated and fresh. Needs more bottle age.
