Le Chiusure Erbaluce di Caluso
Delicious Alto Piemonte unoaked white. Crisp acidity balances lemon curd and tropical notes. No bitter finish like an Arneis. Light mineral notes... our 2018 wasn’t effervescent but I’ve seen a bit with other producers. Just a delicious Italian white that would pair well with so many dishes. Decent value, will buy again.

Nov 3rd, 2020Nose between gruner and chenin. Very lively on palate, almost has a touch of spritz to it, some lean green notes and some seashell saltiness. Takes about 40 minutes for acid to broaden on palate and reveal wondrous depth of watermelon and unripe peach. Versatile with a variety of foods, this is damn good erbaluce. Just good wine.

Apr 27th, 2015White flowers, hints of citrus (lemon rind, grapefruit), racy minerality. Great acidity. P/Q can't be beat.
