Heard about Flavio Roddolo Nebbiolo's on the IDTT podcast with Jan D'Amore. This 2008 Nebbiolo D'Alba is so refreshing with some meaty flavors and dark red fruit aromas. Delicioso! Great value too.

Delicious, approachable. For us the oak showed through initially, gradually diminishing, replaced by more savory licorice, violet, and menthol. Really nice.

Rich in iron with a bracing alkalinity - like drinking the blood of stones. Paired with heirloom tomatoes & caraway seed sausage over fresh tagliatelle.

Took a bit to open but so good. As good as some folks Barolo. 2008 for the win.
