Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

This wine was spectacular. Very dense and textural with lots of black fruits. Could age for a few more years. Wish I had more. Pardon the label, it survived the Napa Earthquake of 2014

Dynamite. This wine has aged beautifully with ripe dark purple fruits - reminding me of an amarone. Just intense and paired with butcher steak with green leafy salsa verde.

Tasted when opened and it was a bit tight and jammy then opened 2 hours later with dried purple fruit. Slight vegetal but very slight. Paired with beef tenderloin.

Lighter than one would expect from a cab from CA, its balanced fruit makes a great companion with its herbaceous notes. Paired with a pumpkin ravioli with brown butter sage sauce. The pairing could not be more cohesive. Forman, what a fun and unique wine to pair with food.
