Beautiful ruby red color together with nice aromas of red cherry and sweet herbs on the nose. Medium-to-full-bodied and follows by very nice flavors of red cherry, plum, raspberry, and spicy chocolate on the palate. Firm structure, solid but rough tannins, bright acidity, and reasonable length on the finish. Juicy, straight forward, easy-to-drink, and nicer & better than expected.

2002 vintage. Amazing it lasted this long. Ode to the screw cap. After a good slumber in a decanter it opened up amazingly. Quite rich in the body and has maintained that pepper and plum. This bottle was cellared well since being purchased and showed that.
