Light red in color with brown specs.
Funky nose (maybe black tea) with cherries, red currants, blackberries and black pepper.
Light bodied.
Smooth on the palate, with cherries, strawberries, cranberries, spices and black pepper.
Long finish with soft tannins and cloves.
Wasn't bad, but not my taste.
13.5% alcohol by volume.

Mar 16th, 2015Interesting nose, full of berries and oak. Robust berry flavors combine with oak, and a hint of...what is it? Chocolate? Paired with heavy garlic chicken dinner and a "cinnamony" dessert and it did well with both. Didn't like my first Coppola wine, but this one's redeemed the label for me.
