Loved the 2007. Not sure what happened in 2008, but I open a bottle every year or so and it doesn’t seem to move—very strong & bitter tannins. Decanted and left open two days and barely a change. From other comments on more recent vintages, it looks like maybe 2008 was an aberration. But we really liked the 2007, so don’t let this put you off.
