Rotes Tor Federspiel Wachau Grüner Veltliner

Lots of fresh mineral on the nose with hints of rounded mellow fruit. A lot of depth, but very soft flavor with a mellow spicy peppery finish. It tastes like it was still fast asleep. After a couple days the peppery fruit started coming forward more. Maybe needs time. But how much I don’t know. There is a lot there but it’s so faint at times.

Awesome minerality and acidity. A bouquet of flavors: flowers, honeyed almonds, white pepper, lemons.

Lively and aromatic with delicious notes of stone fruits, lemon peel and lots of minerals

Afternoon charcuterie refreshment.

Невыразительный нос. Хвоя, лимонная цедра, топленое молоко, потом лежалая антоновка. Зажато, но тем не менее, сочно и минерально, чуть жарко. Дать хорошо подышать - вкус гармонизируется. Серьезное вино, хоть и сложно к нему подступиться.

Golden color with intense honey on the nose. As it warms incredible honeyed fruits comes to the fore. In the mouth there is fantastic minerality with great acid. Long lingering aftertaste; wonderful wine!!

Good but a bit simple. Expected more.

Clear golden color with aromas of peach on top of slate. Entry is clean with incredible minerality and flavors of peach and apricots. As it airs there is even more complexity in the nose and flavors have mellowed but the incredible minerality persists. This wine would go well with cheeses and Asian food.

Hay, sweet lemons, crisp acidity. No peppar. 🙏
