Not a Dornfelder conoisseur, but I enjoyed this very much. It was sweet, but not at all cloying, and had some depths to explore.

Some crazy, sweet German stuff! Initially threw me for a loop, so I let it sit in the fridge for a couple of days. It does well when ignored. Ripe, ripe grape with a touch of caramel. Great lite desert wine.
