Médium light ruby core with wide ruby garnet rim . On the palate this shows cranberry and dried red currant with dry spices and an earthy , herbal tinge. Shows a bit of maturity but with reasonable freshness and vitality. On the palate this shows quite good depth with the earthy notes and cranberry , spiced red cherry , and a reasonable slightly herbal tinged finish . Balanced acidity and lightly present alcohol and some slightly chalky tannins . This is in its drinking window and whilst there is no rush , I little reason to leave this much longer . From now and over the next 5 years .
