Nov 24th, 20182014 Gaia Agiorgitiko & Live Evil. This the first time I’ve paid attention to drinking a Greek red with Miles Davis. Along with the home roasted chicken using Zuni Cafe’s recipe, this is a winning combo all around.

Jun 19th, 2018I won’t get to post Records this weekend, but will definitely be posting wine. Looking forward to a much needed long weekend/getaway. Decided to post a new favorite (2014 Gaia Agioritiko) and a relatively old favorite (Live At Massey Hall). I’ve posted these in this little series before, but not together. They bring out the best in each other.

May 25th, 2018Knocked out by flu the first two weeks of the year, I’ve been a virtual teetotaler for nearly all of January. Sad! What better way to ease back into the wine life with this rustic, savory Greek red that has all the tannic grip of a fine Sangiovese. Some oak up front, palate is heavily tannic with sour cherry, herbs, and chalk/flint. Nice work.
