What a delicious discovery to find a completely different grape, from a different country, in a different yearly vintage, that tastes so unmistakably similar to it’s distant doppelgänger. This near clone of Saint Amour is an instant hit for us and I can’t wait to explore other wines from this delicious Italian producer.

Jammy black and blue fruits, cotton candy, purple flowers. Creme de cassis. Herbs like basil coming through mid palate. Moderate plus acid. Moderate soft tannins and body.

Lots of purple fruit here- plum and raspberry and violet. Some cinnamon. Maybe that's just the spice I get in dolcetto. Kirsch like in the finish. Really pillowy finish
