Surprise of the night. Dead ringer for a Left Bank. Just wonderful, well balanced, nice mix of fruits and minerals, layers of complexity, a smooth finish that kept going and going...

Starting to drink down our cellar. This 2003 was getting a little long in the tooth. Hour decant, the smallest sediment residue in the last glass, thick legs. Wish we had a second bottle.

Very young. Wine is beginning to shut down. Opened a little after 45 minutes but still not giving much. Interestingly, smelled and tasted like a French left bank Bordeaux. Cellar for another 5 years before trying again.
