Opened this one hoping to delve into something unique . . . and of course Gramercy delivered. Leather & dark cherries, hint of cedar and spice. Like walking into a classy man-cave. :)

I thought I was drinking Spanish Rioja! Aromas of dill, leather and red fruits. Dusty red fruits on the pallet. Medium bodied with smooth and balanced tannins. Great vintage of a great wine, with a great name that references the character in the movie “The Princess Bride.”

I liked this. It paired well with the late night wood chopping session needed to fill the chimenea. Fire and Tempranillo, an under utilized combination.
