Gramercy Cellars
Les Collines Vineyard Block 50 Syrah
I agree with the comments about this needing some serious air time - 2011, go figure - but as with the 3 other Les Collines Syrahs I am side by siding it with, it is plummy and tannicly intriguing. It's got game!

May 14th, 2014Took a good while to open up, even after decanting. But now, lovely. Lots of red and dark fruits on the nose. The palate is similar with white pepper notes and a lengthy finish. The pepper keeps going. Nice.

Jun 6th, 2016Cool, complex nose with some dried fruit, leather, smoke. Lingering on the palate with big dried fruit but also good balance, structure, smoke and spice.
