This is one helluva wine…
Nothing to add to my TN from two years ago.
Or… maybe an extra point.
It’s that good!!

Time has put a bit of prudence and elderly wisdom in this once burly, high-octane Barossa Shiraz. Don’t get me wrong, there is still a big black core of macerated fruit and generously dosed oak as well. Yet the aromatics and structure of this wine are open knit and transparent now, so we can clearly pick up notes of cinnamon, caramel, dried rose-petals, humidor and allspice.
This is perfectly Mature now. Sensible. Friendly. Complex and nuanced. Simply Delightful.

Big and bold. Lots of black fruit, licorice well balanced
