Greywacke
Wild Sauvignon Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc
Distinctly SB, but doesn't screen of New Zealand as it avoids verging into being overtly tropical. There's texture through the palate, solid length. Not bad.

Dec 10th, 2016Stunning wine retaining freshness, elderflower and lemongrass, white flowers, all pumped up with a creamy oaky, vanilla note. Grapefruit, hint of Passionfruit sneaks in. But it's the palate where this kicks in. Good texture leading to a medium bodied wine, creamy, savoury, leesy, with peachy, tropical fruit, and only light green notes. This will give Pessacs a run for their moolah!

Jun 24th, 2015V13. Very good and very unique. Think NZ SB, grapefruit zest nose. Gooseberry, lemon grass, lime. Now add toasty vanilla to the nose and finish. Nicely done.

Sep 16th, 2016Stellar. All hopped up on vanilla oak, but it keeps the wildflower bouquet of NZ SB. Acidity that goes zzzzzzzzzing - you can even hear it if you close your eyes.

May 26th, 2016Asparagus, white flowers, citrus, smoke, vegetal undertones. Oak aged, it has all the elements from the regular Greywacke SB, slightly less acid, more complexity. Last glass was as exciting as the first.
