Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Deeper style, very direct Cabernet Sauv. Minty, menthol, coffee, roasted, blackcurrant. Fuller bodied, good grip, warming to hot alcohol, lighter on avidity. Full rich black fruiter style with a roasted warming note.

Very nice Napa cab. Opened up beautifully throughout the evening.

From 3L. Some green pepper accents from a cooler vintage. Quite smooth and drinking nicely now. Peak?

Balanced with bell pepper spice

Had me worried at first approach. But as it opened up it was elegant and paired well with steak dinner

Not as complex as I thought it might be - disappointing.

Had with French Onion soup.... very good!

Oh the funky 2011 year. Vegetative, oregano, basil, tastes like a margarita pizza, not a bad thing when you're eating margarita pizza.
